A Dashboard And A Pocket

Some More Recycling

I decided as I so often do that my Identity A5 Filofax organiser needed a new dashboard. Also as so often happens I hunted around for something I could recycle and came up with a birthday card from the Card Factory.  The card has a picture on both sides so for me that made it ideal for turning into a new dashboard. After some trimming and laminating here is the end result.

As you can see not much difference between the two.

I also decided to put a double pocket in my Identity and again recycled what I already had. This is a double pocket from a Paperchase notebook to which I have added some Washi tape.

I have a few more simple projects that will add pages to my Filofax organisers and I shall be doing further posts shortly.

Mini Page Markers

 Utilising Some Luggage Tags

When I use any Filofax Organiser I often want to sub divide my sections but I rarely need full page dividers. To overcome this I decided to make some smaller than usual page markers.  I took some luggage tags which were fifty for 99p on Amazon.  I snipped some headings from one of my magazines, I used some Washi tape and some small pieces of punched paper.  I then laminated the tags and punched three holes.  Here is the finished result showing the three mini page markers that I made.

I'm certain these mini page markers will help me to find sub sections much more quickly.

My Filofax Week 47

My Week

I know I've been absent for a while with My Week but I've finally managed to put together a post.  I've had quite a busy week with my son Jay paying a visit from Scotland.  I went to the hospital on Friday for some blood tests and also managed to take a couple of photos while I was there.  I shall share these with you after My Week.

I hope you've enjoyed seeing My Week and I also hope the rest of your week is a good one.

My Latest Project

An Organiser, Planner & Notebook

For some time now I've wanted to be able to make my own organisers and possibly mini albums as well. Recently I came across a wonderful machine which would allow me to do just that.  Monika Wright a fellow Filofax lover did a post on her blog I Love It All about the Bind-It-All machine she uses to make her mini albums and gratitude journals.  I went to Papermaze here in the UK where I was able to purchase a machine for myself. What can I say, it's amazing.

It's far from perfect and needs a few tweaks but here's my first attempt at making an organiser, planner and notebook combined.

Day- Timer Dashoard

A Few Pebbles

When I was in town the other day I came across a large envelope with pebbles on.  As soon as I saw it I decided it would be perfect as a dashboard for my Day-Timer organiser.  So after a little trimming and laminating here is the end result.

I'm not entirely satisfied with the dashboard reverse but it will more than suffice until I make myself a new one.  If I make myself a new dashboard I will be sure to keep you posted.

Organising My Paper

Different Sizes For Different Organisers

I've not been to well lately but I've kept myself busy lately by making up paper for my various organisers. Here is a sample of some of the pages I've made up.

Notebook Paper Cut To Size For My Filofax Personal Songbird

The notebook cost me £1.50 on reduction and the quality is extremely similar to my A5 Filofax Flex notebook which is approximately £8.

All I needed to do was cut my paper to size and then punch the holes.  Plenty of paper for a few of my organisers and as always at very little cost.
